Um, so somehow we ended up with "Ma Meilleure Ennemie" getting so many views that for now its only competitor in this regard is "To Ashes and Blood".

#...now let me talk about ma meilleure ennemie again because I said I'm gonna be such an annoying bitch about it even before act 3 premiered #SOMEHOW it's also trending in my region as 8th most watched music video #this very VERY big jump in views in just 3 days can be connected to several factors:#1) it's the song from two very well-known french-speaking artists (and in Stromae's case it reaches astronomical levels)#2) episode 7 impacted a LOT of people to the point that they continue to rewatch it to cope after finale #3) it's genuinely good and very memorable to the point you want to listen and listen and listen to it. even more so if you know the lyrics.#(“the worst of blessings‚ the most wonderful of curses” still haunts me honestly)#arcane #timebomb #why the fuck do they always get the songs that break barriers???

#so here’s the thing-#and I am in awe of anyone who watched that episode who took those crumbs #and they were indeed literal crumbs and accepted it #but that doesn’t change the fact that we were robbed- and not just robbed #but the clip of Maya Rudolph at the Emmys this year where she pronounces robbed as ROB-BA-DAH #like explaining it here does no justice but I promise you it’s amazing #but we were told this is a big Tarlos episode #this would have a scene they couldn’t believe they got on tv- better than the second episode we were told #but this is the big Tarlos addresses their problems episode #and here’s what we got- one scene of them in therapy- almost all of which was released as a preview #like the only thing missing was the dinner scene #and also it’s unfair to say it’s such steamy scene when it goes nowhere because someone falls asleep #and the lack of context we have been given - it would have been better to jump right from the premiere to this one #because we were given nothing outside of the premiere to think they would do this #because the show doesn’t take the time to let us see these problems outside of one episode #like honestly this isn’t about TK or Carlos #because yes it’s like these issues aren’t easily fixed #but these issues should be addressed and especially since Carlos doesn’t seem like he would want to do this #and we’re told this in the 120 seconds we see of them in therapy #that it would be worthwhile to take the time to explain how they got there #but to say this is a big Tarlos episode - and their therapy scene is over before the title card #and to not see them together at all before they resolve everything #like we deserved more #we were told we were getting more #like to each and every fanfic writer out there let me grab you by the shoulders and tell you this #I wish you had written this season. I really do.#becuase the ones who did- they didn’t deserve to tell this beautiful couples story if they were going to be so careless with it #911 lone star #tarlos

#BACK FROM MONTREAL HIII #workin on that animatic for my brother so i ca get him to watch an ep of monkie kid.. clenches fist...#i wanted to work on frames on the drive there or while at the hotel but the problem is i didnt have time to make the rough copy on paper #before i left.. and i have to test the frames on premiere while working on it which i couldnt do cause i was away from my pc orz #idek if im going to keep this frame i keep wanting to redo it. i want to get it done tomorrow since i have a day off #this was rtunning in the back of my mind the whole trip and it frustrated me to no end.. but i had fun in montreal!!#its hard to find good parking because everythings in french theres no parking lots and where you can and cannot park is extremely vague #but i liked the science center and the biodome.. i kind of prefer the academy of sciences in LA just because there are so many animals #but i like how the biodome was an open enclosure. walking around old montreal was cool too #wip #doodles #lego monkie kid #lmk

#it's always very endearing to me when actors support each other's projects #airenyah plappert #dunk natachai #dunk twitter #joong archen #joong twitter #wats #joylada gang #adrm #actually that reminds me this saturday i'm actually watching the dress rehearsal of one of my colleague's new play that he's in #the premiere was unfortunately already sold out when he mentioned his new project #and we were a little sad that it was sold out already but then he was like #''ok but we have an open dress rehearsal you can come to that if you wanna'' and i was like ''hell yeah''#i mean technically i could also go to any of the other dates where the show is on #but since he invited me to the rehearsal before i could bring up the idea of going on a different day #i decided the rehearsal will be more fun for me personally as someone who has a great interest in working in theater after uni #and if the play is fun i can always go watch it another time and support the actual show and the ticket sales #i'm already excited to watch it #it's always fun to see colleagues on stage
